Ethiopian Calendar EME is an easy to use Calendar for everyday purpose. It has both Ethiopian and Gregorian calendar. It shows holidays and public days in both calendars. Ethiopian Calendar has 13 months (12 months of 30 days each and 1 month of 5 days). It has about 7 years and 4 month’s difference with Gregorian calendar. In Ethiopia new year starts in September 11 or 12 (Meskerem 1). Meskerem is a month of transition between rainy season and summer. Ethiopian time writing is also different; a new day starts at dawn (Just before new sunrise in the morning), 6:00AM in Gregorian is 12:00 morning in Ethiopia. So in local writing format there is always 6 hours difference.
